At 350 Australia, we work shoulder-to-shoulder with First Nations and grassroots movements for a future where the planet is healthy, everyone thrives, communities care for the living planet together, island homes are protected and First Nations lands are returned to the stewardship of First Nations people. 

Over the last decade, we’ve:

  • Backed Our Islands, Our Home to win in a landmark $77 million investment in Torres Strait climate resilience

  • Helped electrify NSW by securing a commitment to clean energy from 14 councils, serving 30% of the state

  • Shifted $1 billion away from destructive and polluting investments in climate pollution, coal, oil and gas

  • Supported the Torres Strait 8 to achieve a groundbreaking UN human rights victory

Our movement Culture & Practice

  • Like migratory birds, we are connected to communities across the world and we know that none of us are free until all of us free

  • We know movements find their power when people of different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives can bring their hopes, dreams, strengths and skills to the voyage

  • We see the big picture, think and act long-term and make time to reflect and dream. We know reaching the summit of the mountain takes one step at a time

  • We shade out the doom, gloom and disinformation by planting and watering seeds of people power, hope, strength, healing, resistance and determination

  • We cultivate a love for nature and wildlife through immersive community events and activations
